Topic - The Sky
Question 1: Do you like looking at the sky?
Answer:Yes, I really enjoy looking at the sky, especially during the early mornings and evenings. There’s something very soothing about watching the sky change colors as the sun rises or sets. It’s a nice way to appreciate the beauty around us.
Question 2: What do you see when you look at the sky in your city?
Answer:In my city, what we see in the sky often depends on the season. During winters, the sky is usually clear and blue, with a bit of haze in the early morning, which looks quite magical. In monsoons, the sky is often covered with clouds, and it can look quite dramatic and intense right before a rainstorm. And, of course, during the harvest festivals, we see colorful kites in the sky, which is a joyful sight.
Question 3: Is there a good place to look at the sky where you live?
Answer: Yes, there are a few good spots in Ludhiana to enjoy the sky, especially at sunset. Sukhdev Vatika, for example, is a beautiful park where you can see the sunset clearly over the horizon. Another place would be the Punjab Agricultural University campus, where there’s a lot of open space. It feels refreshing to look at the sky from there, surrounded by nature and away from the busier parts of the city.
Question 4: Do you know much about stars and constellations?
Answer:I wouldn’t say I know a lot, but I do know the basics. I can recognize the Orion constellation, which is visible during winter evenings here. I remember learning about the constellations in school, and I’ve always found them fascinating. Sometimes, during power cuts, I’ll look up and try to find constellations if the sky is clear.
Question 5: Have you ever taken any pictures of the sky?
Answer: Yes, I have! Especially during festivals like Diwali or Lohri, when there are fireworks, the sky looks vibrant, and I like capturing those moments. Also, if I see a particularly beautiful sunset, I try to take a picture. Although I’m not a professional photographer, I enjoy preserving those memories.
